MacBook Pro Battery Recall Program

Liquid Damage

If your computer has suffered liquid damage, it has likely turned off by itself. If it did, do not attempt to turn in on again. If it has not, hold the power button (up to 10 seconds) to force it to shut down and leave it off. Bring it in as soon as possible for proper cleaning. Every attempt to turn it on again before being properly cleaned will reduce its changes of survival without replacing parts.

The cleaning process includes a complete hardware cleaning and hardware diagnostics. In many cases, this is all the computer will need to function properly again. If it does not, we will provide a quote to repair the computer. Cost of the cleaning is $179. Due to the nature of the failure we can not guarantee the cleaning will be successful and may need further service. However, this is the most affordable way to help get your computer back on its feet..

Boots to File Folder

If your Mac displays a flashing folder with a question mark during start up. It is telling you, it is unable to find the startup file needed to start your Mac. This is caused by only a few potential failure. 1 - Data cable failure/damaged (some models only), 2-Unintentionally erased of the hard drive, 3- A failed hard drive, 4-failed logic board.(most unlikely)

Bring in your Mac for a free basic diagnostic test and we can discuss the results. The test is done in front of the customer and takes about five minutes.
